Well, apparently it is not just AOC who lives in a fantasy world. In fact, the leader of her cult … er, ‘party’, seems to be of a similar mindset when it comes to facts.
Apparently for Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of The House, it is perfectly fine to impeach Trump in the House based on a single parties votes with a process corrupted and controlled by the majority party (her party, the Democrats), however, when it comes to the Senate and convicting Trump, the only outcome that would be acceptable to Nancy would be removal.
Well, as the world knows, Pelosi did not get her way.
Now she is over seas and trashing Trump while living in a state of denial about his aquittal.
The Gateway Pundit reported:
‘During her interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour Pelosi refused to believe President Trump was overwhelmingly acquitted in the US Senate in the sham impeachment.
She’s nuts.
Christiane Amanpour: “What about, though, the fact that the president seems liberated, and this is about democratic politics so I’m not asking you to criticize here, but he was acquitted, his poll ratings are high…”
Nancy Pelosi: “He was not… there was no… You can’t have an acquittal unless you have a trial, and you can’t have a trial unless you have witnesses and documents. So he can say he’s acquitted, and the headlines can say ‘acquitted,’ but he’s impeached forever, branded with that, and not vindicated.”
Pelosi also defended ripping up the State of the Union Address in a pre-planned stunt.’

One more thing about Trump being ‘impeached forever’ … that’s not how this works, that’s not how any of this works according to famous Lawyer, Alan Dershowitz.
Alan Dershowitz: Nancy Pelosi has pulled a real sharp one. She’s said even if he’s acquitted and vindicated he’s still impeached. That should not be how it is. Why? He did not have a fair trial. He was indicted. And what happens if a person is acquitted after indictment? The indictment disappears… And when you deny someone due process saying, “Well we’re only indicting him.” You can’t come back and say, “But he’s still indicted!” If he wins this I think no one should regard him as having been impeached anymore than you would regard someone who’s indicted as still being indicted if he won a unanimous twelve person jury.
