OPINION| Lawrence David| House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is obstinately blocking much-needed aid to America’s small businesses unless Republicans and President Trump also fund her radical leftist agenda.
While Democrats were not the only ones bowing to Chinese Communist Party demands and money for the past three decades, Pelosi – with the help of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Yoo Schumer – has made herself the face of the communists lobbying efforts to influence U.S. policy since the election of Donald Trump.
That influence cost Americans like you and me trillions of dollars, the theft of our intellectual property, and the forced technology transfer from American businesses to the communists as the price of doing business with the yellow peril.
Pelosi can block the bill to help America’s small businesses as she wants… small business owners long ago realized that Democrats weren’t their friends so the despicable Speaker feels she has nothing to lose… President Trump has multiple tools at his disposal…
Fox News contributor Trey Gowdy listed but a few options, all of which are available to the president:
“The Trump administration doesn’t need to go to court to hold China accountable. You can hit them where it hurts the most. You can ostracize them on the world stage, quit letting their students come here and study, you can make them a pariah, but most importantly you can start deducting the amount of money we owe them and other countries owe them, deduct our costs including the loss of life, but all of the other costs, start deducting that, and then see what China’s reaction is.”
Trump can also place tariffs on China for products they send to the U.S. – above and beyond the 25% currently on targeted products – and direct that money directly to the small business sector as he’s done previously with our great farmers. Say… 100%.
This might result in another impeachment, but he might choose to direct the $400 Billion dollars the Democrats held us up for in the $2.2 Trillion bailout… until Pelosi helicoptered in a bi-partisan agreement had been reached for $1.8 Trillion… to incentivizing companies to return their production facilities to the United States.
As we’ve learned, impeachment is a political tool, Trump should let the Pelosi-led Democrats run on that.
