Take A Look At Trump’s Approval Rating Despite Democrats Impeachment Hoax

President Donald Trump’s job approval rating has risen to its highest level in his presidency in one poll despite the ongoing impeachment saga.

The Washington Post/ABC News poll found that 44 percent of Americans approve of the president’s performance, bolstered in large part to his economic policies which have created a booming U.S. economy.

And while 51 percent do not approve, according to the poll, the current approval rating is much higher than his 38 percent rating in October in the same poll, the Washington Post reported.

“A 56 percent majority approves of Trump’s handling of the economy, up 10 percentage points from September and his strongest rating on his marquee issue since entering office. By contrast, 39 percent approve of Trump’s handling of his impeachment, while 50 percent disapprove,” the paper reported.

“Trump’s 44 percent approval mark is similar to other recent national polls, though other polls have shown Trump’s rating stable or increasing slightly,” the paper added.

The survey also notes, however, that among registered voters, those considered more likely to vote, that 44/51 split rose to 47/50.

And among independents, which helped push Trump to victory in 2016, the numbers are even better at 47/48, the Daily Wire reported.

The poll’s finding were predictable when it came to measuring partisanship.

“Partisans continue to be starkly divided on Trump’s fate, with more than 8 in 10 Democrats supporting his removal and more than 8 in 10 Republicans opposed. Independents narrowly lean against removal, with 42 percent saying the Senate should remove Trump from office while 51 percent say it should not,” the Post reported.

According to polling firm Gallup, Americans’ confidence in the U.S. economy is even higher, in fact, it is the highest at any point in about two decades.

“The latest figure from Gallup’s Economic Confidence Index is +40, the highest reading recorded since +44 in October 2000,” that survey noted.
