On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Beat,” Congressional Black Caucus Chair Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) said that she worries “very much” that white supremacist groups “will infiltrate the protests” on the death of Breonna Taylor and the charging decision in the case “and that they will incite violence.”
Bass also expressed hope that the protests will remain peaceful, Breitbart reports.
With all of the violence, riots and looting that is taking place across our nation, there has not been any white “supremacist groups” or even “Trump Supporters” that have caused any of the violence.
In fact, it is Antifa and Black Lives Matter groups that are of all nationalities and races that are at the very heart of them.
Breitbart continued their report with:
Bass said, “Now, I’m very worried that this was just straight political to begin with. We know that the attorney general was a superstar at the Republican Convention. We know what his background was. So, I have to look at where he was coming from politically.
I’m very worried about the protests. I hope the protests stay peaceful, but I do remember when the protests were happening a few months ago, Louisville was the site of the Boogaloo Boys.
So, we have white supremacist organizations that I know are already around, already on the scene, and I worry very much that they will infiltrate the protests, and that they will incite violence. And so, I am just hopeful that the people stay peaceful.”
According to the site, The Conversation, Members of the loosely organized far-right “boogaloo” movement are making the rounds in the news. They’re gaining notoriety not for being linked to domestic acts of terrorism in the United States, but for their penchant for Hawaiian shirts.
Their fondness for aloha-infused militia looks has caught the interest of journalists and prominent news outlets. This mix of street fashions has become an identifying characteristic of boogaloo boys or bois.
USA Today took it a step further and has painted the “Boogaloo Boys” as radicals that intend on overthrowing the government.
There are mainly two wings of the boogaloo movement, but their objective of overthrowing the government and sparking societal collapse remains the same, Newhouse said. One side is made up of some neo-Nazis and white supremacists, whose plan for destroying the government is by starting a race war.
“They want to spark some sort of confrontation that will kill both sides,” Newhouse said. “They believe, ‘If we start the bullets flying, then they’ll kill each other’ sort of thing,” with no regard for who lives or dies.
Another side is characterized as radical libertarian, notably men carrying weapons and wearing Hawaiian shirts. Some have recently been spotted at Black Lives Matter protests, waving anti-police signs alongside protesters, Newhouse said.
All of this seems to be political propaganda to gaslight the chaos that is currently spreading across our nation with the riots and looting.
