Opinion | Lawrence David | Left wing, but occasionally honest, Politico is reporting yet another “mischaracterization” by the Marxist hitman leading the House impeachment managers:
(Politico) …Schiff (D-Calif.) sent a letter to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) last week summarizing a trove of evidence from Lev Parnas, an indicted former associate of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani. In one section of the letter, Schiff claims that Parnas “continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky,” citing a specific text message exchange where Parnas tells Giuliani: “trying to get us mr Z.” The remainder of the exchange — which was attached to Schiff’s letter — was redacted.
But an unredacted version of the exchange shows that several days later, Parnas sent Giuliani a word document that appears to show notes from an interview with Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, followed by a text message to Giuliani that states: “mr Z answers my brother.” That suggests Parnas was referring to Zlochevsky not Zelensky.
Giuliani is President Trump’s personal attorney who has been investigating the corrupt ties between Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company that paid the vice president’s son millions of dollars for no apparent reason.
Except, perhaps, to curry favor with the Obama administration.
Liddle adam schitt is intent on tying anyone close to Trump to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the reference to mr. Z was too much for the Stalinist representative to resist.
Another lie from the sack of schiff.
But as much as the sack of schiff lies, he leaks even more…
Mr. Szobocsan was an associate of Peter W. Smith who had tried to obtain Hillary Clinton’s emails and who then reportedly committed suicide in May 2017, a year before Schiff’s request. (Obviously, because Smith was attempting to find dirt on the Clintons, there were suspicions that his death may not have been a suicide.)
Schiff also requested that Szobocsan provide documents and information related to efforts to obtain Hillary Clinton’s emails and any facts related to General Michael Flynn, Donald Trump and others…
… Mr. Szobocsan claims he complied with Schiff’s request and provided him a response by the date requested (July 26, 2018) along with a USB drive containing documents that satisfied the request. Within days, Mr. Szobocsan and a family member started to receive calls from Anthony Cormier, a reporter at Buzzfeed.
Buzzfeed is the online publication that was the first to publish the Steele dossier.
Cormier now admits that the dossier was a steaming pile of manure:
That f—ked up document. I’m going to say that. It was a f—ked-up document. I think we need to know more about where it came from. Why it is? What it means? But I still defend the right and decision to publish it because I believe in radical transparency. And if the U.S. government is passing that kind of intel to the president and president-elect, I think you guys deserve to know.”
Putting two and two together.
Given that Cormier is the one who reported that President Trump told Michael Cohen to lie to the Mueller team, a story debunked by investigators, you might conclude Schiff was almost certain to have been the source for Cormier’s pursuit of Szobocsan.
We ask again, why the eff is Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell allowing this lying sack of Schiff to turn this into a free two-week Democrat dis-infomercial to trash President Trump?
Those are our effing tax dollars they’re burning.
