OPINION| Mark Sidney| Every time I think about the troubles in my life I stop and realize, hey, it could be worse.
Instead of being married to my wonderful wife, I could be Prince … errr, just, Harry.
The Gateway Pundit reported:
‘Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided this past week to relocate to Los Angeles. According to reports, the move was made amid the coronavirus pandemic to avoid paying taxes in two countries. The former royals were also hoping the US would pay for their security costs.
Remember when FOX News reported:
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly want to make Los Angeles their new home following the announcement that they will “step back” as members of the Royal Family, but only after Donald Trump’s presidency ends.
Even though the couple plans to live in Canada to start off, their true goal is to eventually have a home or business in Los Angeles, anonymous sources told the Daily Mail.
Markle, 38, has been openly critical of Trump, reportedly calling him “divisive” and “misogynistic” back in 2016. The Duchess of Sussex threatened to move to Canada if he defeated Hillary Clinton back in the 2016 election, according to the outlet.
The IBTimes reported:
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s hurried move to Los Angeles along with their 10-month-old son Archie Harrison recently is reportedly due to financial reasons. The British royal and the former Hollywood actress don’t want to pay tax in two countries. The couple took a private jet to California just before US President Donald Trump closed the US-Canada border due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to The Sun, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have left Vancouver Island in Canada for good. The couple have settled down in Los Angeles, California where Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland is based. However,
US insiders close to the couple say the move is because of financial reasons.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s entire team of agents, PRs, they have hired to launch their new careers are based in LA. Earlier there have been reports of the former “Suits” actress wanting to go back to Hollywood. The couple’s exact whereabouts is not known, but it has been reported they are ‘locking down’ in an exclusive gated community in LA.
After suggestions that the coupe would need to seek funding from the United States government in order to pay for their security, President Trump tweeted:
‘I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!’

Great Britain might not pay for their security either.
MSN JUST REPORTED:
‘However, “the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the U.S. government for security resources,” the pair’s spokesperson said in a statement. “Privately funded security arrangements have been made.”
Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, are planning to become “financially independent” after they revealed in their bombshell Jan. 8 announcement that they will be stepping down as senior working royals.
The couple will not receive Sovereign Grant funding and have agreed to uphold the values of the Queen.’
Are they saving face or did they have no intention of bending the knee to President Trump?
We will leave this one for you to decide.
