In the wake of George Floyd’s death, racial tensions in this country are making Obama-era comeback levels, where white grandmas are being sucker-punched in the streets and little white kids are being told they’re inherently evil because of the lack of melanin in their skin.
What makes matters even more preposterous, is that the riots and murders taking place could’ve been avoided, had Keith Ellison, the race-baiting mayor of Minnesota, released the entire body-cam video, which many argue would’ve exonerated the police officers involved in George Floyd death.
But contrary to the Christian values our country was founded on, Democrats need death, destruction and hatred to stay in power. And now the blood of an innocent 5-year-old little North Carolina boy is on their hands, adding to the astonishing death rate their antics have caused to date.
Sunday evening, 5-year-old Cannon Hinnan was minding his own business and riding his bike in front of his father’s house, in Wilson, North Carolina, along with his two older sisters. Then for some unfathomable reason, Darius Sessoms, 25, approached the child and shot him point-blank range in the head, right in front of his seven-year-old and eight-year-old sisters, killing him instantly.
“Sunday, August 9, 2020 a sweet soul named Cannon Hinnant was taken from this world over a senseless act,” a Go Fund Me for the family reads. “A beautiful 5-year-old baby boy riding his bicycle was shot by his neighbor point-blank in Wilson NC. One minute he is enjoying his life, the next it all ends because he rode into his neighbor’s yard.”
“Sessoms was apprehended in Goldsboro by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force, Goldsboro police and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office,” WRAL reported. “He was charged with first-degree murder and was being held without bond in the Wilson County jail. During a brief court hearing Tuesday morning, he said he planned to hire his own lawyer and rejected an attempt to have a judge appoint an attorney for him. Police were called to a shooting in a neighborhood in the 5100 block of Archers Road just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Family members said Cannon Hinnant was playing outside his father’s house when he was shot in the head. The boy’s two sisters, ages 8 and 7, saw their brother get shot, according to Cannon’s mother.”
Cannon was looking forward to starting Kindergarten on Monday and had just learned how to write his own name. His mother, Bonny Waddell, told the Wilson Times, “He was just a loving kid. He had the biggest heart. It’s devastating. No one should ever have to bury their child. No mother should have to go through this.’”
A neighbor revealed that Sessoms, who lives next door to Cannon’s father, had had dinner together Saturday night with Cannon’s father, and that Sessoms was even at the Hinnant home earlier on Sunday. Doris Lybrand witnessed the shooting, and said that Sessoms ran up to Cannon while the little boy was on his bike, and put the gun in the back of his head, lethally shooting the 5-year-old child. After firing the gun, Sessoms then ran back into his house.
“My first reaction was he’s playing with the kids,” Lybrand said. “For a second, I thought, ‘That couldn’t happen.’ People don’t run across the street and kill kids.”
Then she quickly realized what had happened when she saw Cannon’s father running over and reacting to the shooting. Lybrand said she rushed inside of her home to call 911.
“You don’t expect to see somebody shoot someone,” Lybrand went on.
Cannon’s grandmother spoke with the media, saying she was happy that Sessoms had been arrested, but the family is devastated by the young boy’s senseless killing.
It’s absolutely insane that this shooting happened several days ago, and we are just now beginning to hear about it. Can you imagine if the roles were reversed…and a white man executed a 5-year-old black child who was riding his bike in front of his own house? It would be the only thing that CNN and MSNBC would be flapping their gums over for weeks, if not months, where they’d demonize every single white person in American until retributions were made and every city in American was looted and burned to the ground. But for little white Cannon, there is no outrage, and his family can only raise 5,000 in a Go Fund Me, which isn’t even enough to have a proper funeral and put their baby in the ground!
