Opinion| ICYMI| It’s really starting to seem like Democratic Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar hates the United States. On Saturday, she sat down with the ultra liberal Al Sharpton to talk about the ongoing crisis at the southern border.
Omar stated that there was a crisis taking place at the border, however, she doesn’t feel that the problem is the countless illegal aliens piling into the country. Rather, Omar claimed that the problem is the way the immigrants are being held in detention centers by United States Border Patrol. She claimed that these Aliens were being abused.
Omar stated, “Well, thank you Al for having me. You know I think back to this famous poem from by Warson Shire, she says, ‘No one leaves for the mouth of the shark unless the mouth of the shark is safer than home.’ And so we have heard in the testimonies from my colleagues that some of these people now who have fled are actually being faced with the more dangerous mouth of the shark. People are being stripped of their dignity. They are being caged, some of them children.”
It really seems to me like Omar resents the country she claims to represent.

Fox News reported last week:
Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., on Sunday joined Democrats who took issue with a recent interview with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who criticized the influence of the four freshmen lawmakers who voted against the $4.6 billion border bill signed into law last week by President Trump.
Pelosi, who was interviewed by New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, played down the influence these representatives wield, saying, “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world. But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”
Pelosi was referring to Omar, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.

Ilhan Omar can’t seem to keep her mouth shut, much like fellow liberal Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. These two are the perfect faces of progressive liberalism in America.
