Hordes of young people defied orders to practice social distancing as coronavirus concerns steadily increase, congregating on South Florida beaches Tuesday despite official calls to limit social events to groups of ten.
The phenomenon speaks to the growing generational tension between younger Americans — who, as President Trump said, may feel “invincible” in this time of crisis — and older Americans who remain at a higher risk.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on Tuesday the mass closure of bars and nightclubs as the coronavirus pandemic festers in the United States and in the state of Florida.
He did not provide a stringent order for beaches in the Sunshine State but said the statewide position is in accordance with the CDC guidance of “no group on a beach more than ten.” Breitbart
The Governor and local authorities chose to do nothing as the most selfish generation in history gathered to party and do whatever they wanted. I believe all involved share the blame from the selfish kids to the Florida government and now those kids will go back to their states and cities and potentially bring the virus with them.
As if drunken college selfish millennial wasn’t bad enough it turns out the other side of the coin has done the exact thing and broke the guidelines as a church opened their doors and encouraged people to gather inside.
As Fox released the following, Police responded Tuesday night to a Louisiana church where hundreds had congregated despite the state’s ban on gatherings of more than 50 people — part of the effort to stop the spread of Coronavirus.
Tony Spell, the pastor of Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge, said no “dictator law” could keep people from worshipping God, according to the local news.
“The virus, we believe, is politically motivated,” Spell told WAFB. “We hold our religious rights dear and we are going to assemble no matter what someone says.”
As you can see it just boils down to beliefs, one side believes it is not a real virus and that they will not stop their Spring Break no matter what and the other side believes it is a political stunt that they will not stop worshiping together and said they will not stop. This is all leading to de facto Martial Law because people refuse to follow guidelines.
