DNC & HRC Campaign’s Law Firm’s Worst Case Now Reality As Carter Page Announces He IS Suing Democratic National Committee & Perkins Coie Over Steele Dossier

From Mark Sidney at Illicit Info OPINION Blog

Opinion| Mark Sidney It looks like the lie that is the Carter Page FISA warrant is finally going to come back and bite the DNC, and hopefully HRC, right where they pulled it from.

The now dead or dying, want to be thought police outfit, ‘Newsgaurd’, once claimed that we were ‘fake news’ and their rational was, in part, that we had referred to the Carter Page FISA warrant as ‘fraudulent.’  The college intern who sat in judgement of our site also disparaged President Trump for purveying this ‘false’ conspiracy theory.

At the time I refused to correct the claim, as anyone who was paying attention to the chain of events knew it was eventually going to come out that at least some of the FISA warrants on Carter Pages were bogus.

Anyway, here we are now, where even the government is forced to admit that they broke … protocol, in issuing the go ahead to spy on a member of the Trump campaign, knowing full well that it would likely open up the entire campaign, including the candidate, Donald Trump himself to ‘surveillance’ (read: spying).

So instead of face the fact that the Obama admin completely abused the FISA court in order to, in my opinion, spy on the Trump campaign in order to benefit HRC and help her win the election (which she lost anyway ? ) the Democrats are now trying to remove Trump from office because he asked Ukraine to look into Obama era corruption.  Welcome to 1984 ladies and gentlemen.

Now Fox News is reporting that Carter Page is finally fighting back:

The article is entitled: ‘Ex-Trump aide Carter Page files suit against DNC over dossier: ‘This is only the first salvo’

‘Former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page filed a lawsuit Thursday in federal court against the Democratic National Committee, law firm Perkins Coie and its partners tied to the funding of the unverified dossier that served as the basis for highly controversial surveillance warrants against him.

The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Illinois’ Eastern Division Thursday morning, and was described by his attorneys as the “first of multiple actions in the wake of historic” Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuse.

“This is a first step to ensure that the full extent of the FISA abuse that has occurred during the last few years is exposed and remedied,” attorney John Pierce said Thursday. “Defendants and those they worked with inside the federal government did not and will not succeed in making America a surveillance state.”

He added: “This is only the first salvo. We will follow the evidence wherever it leads, no matter how high. … The rule of law will prevail.”

Page first filed a defamation suit on his own against the parties in October 2018 in federal court in Oklahoma, but that suit was dismissed in January 2019 after the judge ruled the court lacked jurisdiction over the case because neither Page nor the DNC had strong enough ties to the state.

Page is now represented by Pierce, the global managing partner of Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP. They filed in Illinois because they allege the relationship with the firm behind the dossier, Fusion GPS, was “orchestrated” through law firm Perkins Coie’s Chicago office. The suit also claims the DNC “has a historical pattern” of making Chicago its principal place of business.’

It looks like we may finally see some justice served to those who conspired to violate not only Carter Page’s and those who he talked to, and those who talked to those he talked to’s civil rights, but the very sanctity of our election system itself.

However, knowing just how corrupt our Government and courts have become … I am not holding my breath.
