(TNS) The depth of Democrat depravity never ceases to amaze us, but even the Garbage Party outdoes itself from time to time, and this is one of those times.
The manner in which Democrats have come out in opposition of President Donald Trump’s decision to take out one of our sworn enemies — Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, former head of the Quds Force, responsible for thousands of deaths and maiming of Americans — went beyond mere politics and, we believe, rose to the level of treason.
When members of Congress actually call the president a “monster” and accuse him of “committing war crimes” for acting in defense of our country is traitorous. It’s literally providing ‘aid and comfort’ to an enemy, and that’s what Iran’s leaders are — they are American enemies, regardless of whether Congress has formally declared war against that regime or not.

An Iranian state-run media outlet using the words of Democrats to propagandize against our president and build patriotic fervor among Iranians to oppose his country.
This surpasses merely being a jerk by miles and miles and crosses into the realm of taking action that is harmful to your own country. Murphy — and AOC and Ilhan, and now Speaker Nancy Pelosi — should be behind bars.
On Sunday, Pelosi sent a letter to her Garbage Party informing then that she’s going to introduce a resolution “to limit the President’s military actions regarding Iran.”
She also accused the Trump administration of taking “provocative and disproportionate” action against the Iranian general, Soleimani, who took actually took “provocative and disproportionate” action in Iraq when he was supplying insurgents with Iranian-made weapons to kill American troops.
In addition, Pelosi said the resolution would “mandate that if no further Congressional action is taken, the Administration’s military hostilities with regard to Iran cease within 30 days.”
“As Members of Congress, our first responsibility is to keep the American people safe. For this reason, we are concerned that the Administration took this action without the consultation of Congress and without respect for Congress’s war powers granted to it by the Constitution,” she wrote.
She added:
This week, the House will introduce and vote on a War Powers Resolution to limit the President’s military actions regarding Iran. This resolution is similar to the resolution introduced by Senator Tim Kaine in the Senate. It reasserts Congress’s long-established oversight responsibilities by mandating that if no further Congressional action is taken, the Administration’s military hostilities with regard to Iran cease within 30 days.
The House Resolution will be led by Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin. Congresswoman Slotkin is a former CIA and Department of Defense analyst specializing in Shia militias. She served multiple tours in the region under both Democratic and Republican Administrations.

Thank you for your patriotic leadership during this difficult time.
Democrats are incapable of demonstrating “patriotism” because it’s quite obvious they hate America as it was founded and, by their actions and policies, routinely undermine our founding principles.
But beyond that, the Speaker is, once again, providing a propaganda victory for the Iranians at a time when our administration needs her support and our country is under the gun.
It’s pathetic and it’s disgusting but it’s more than that: It is treason, and we dare call it that.
Pelosi knows this resolution is bunk and that it’s not going anywhere. She also knows that it simply reinforces existing law. So by introducing it a way to score some cheap political points with her deranged, perpetually angry voting base, she provides the Iranian leadership with another propaganda victory.
She may as well have introduced a resolution to provide the Iranians with missiles, tanks, and planes…so they can kill more Americans she claims to want to protect.
The gall of the Garbage Party in undermining our nation knows no bounds. So it’s time to place some boundaries on them: Arrest the traitors, and let’s begin with Pelosi.
