BREAKING: Vehicle Drives Up To Funeral For Shooting Victim In Chicago…Opens Fire…Shoots 14

Only two days ago in Chicago, a crowd of mostly white BLM supporters chanted “Defund the Police” while violence escalates in the already out-of-control violent city of Chicago.

 

 

Tonight, at least 14 people attending the funeral for a victim of a shooting were shot in Chicago.

 

 

Tia Ewing of Fox 32 News shared a video of Chicago Deputy Carter speaking to the media about the incident- Police say 14 people were shot today near 79th and Carpenter. One person is apparently in custody and is being questioned in connection with the shooting.

 

 

A witness on the scene has told me that the funeral that the victims were attending was a funeral for a shooting victim.

 

 

According to CBS News radio reporter:

 

Chicago police say some fired from a black vehicle at funeral attendees •gunfire was exchanged •person inside black vehicle continued to fire at funeral attendees and crashed (people in the car fled) •14 victims are being treated at 5 area hospitals •60 shell casings found

 

 

Fox News’ Shannon Bream reported – BREAKING: Chicago police say vehicle drove up to mourners at a funeral – fired guns – people attending funeral returned fire. At least 14 hospitalized – “conditions unknown”. Police say no motives at this point, one person of interest in custody. More at 11p

Eric Tendian reported that the mass shooting is now likely to surpass the 2013 mass shooting in Cornell Square Park in which 13 people were wounded in a mass shooting. Possibly 16 people were shot in this incident.
