Only two days ago in Chicago, a crowd of mostly white BLM supporters chanted “Defund the Police” while violence escalates in the already out-of-control violent city of Chicago.
I’m sorry but this is unimaginably absurd. Tonight, at least 14 people attending the funeral for a victim of a shooting were shot in Chicago.
14 citizens of Chicago were shot at a funeral.
They are fighting for their lives.
Pray for them.
If Mayor Lightfoot had accepted help from @realDonaldTrump earlier a lot of lives would have been saved.

Tia Ewing of Fox 32 News shared a video of Chicago Deputy Carter speaking to the media about the incident- Police say 14 people were shot today near 79th and Carpenter. One person is apparently in custody and is being questioned in connection with the shooting.

Eric Tendian reported that the mass shooting is now likely to surpass the 2013 mass shooting in Cornell Square Park in which 13 people were wounded in a mass shooting. Possibly 16 people were shot in this incident.
