TRUMP CALLS ON CONGRESS TO HAVE OBAMA TESTIFY ABOUT ‘RUSSIAGATE’ HOAX

President Donald Trump on Thursday tweeted that Congress ought to be calling his predecessor, President Barack Obama, to testify about what he did or did not know about the hoax Russian collusion investigation launched during his tenure.

“If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama. He knew EVERYTHING. Do it @LindseyGrahamSC, just do it. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!” the president tweeted.
The statement/demand/request comes after Graham, South Carolina Republican, stated about as plainly as can be said Wednesday he has no plans to subpoena the former president.
“I don’t think now’s the time for me to do that,” Graham told Politico’s Andrew Desiderio. “I don’t know if that’s even possible. I understand President Trump’s frustration but be careful what you wish for.”
Graham may have a point. He seems to be suggesting that if Obama can be subpoenaed to testify about possible scandals after he leaves office, then Trump would likely be just as susceptible to such interrogation.
But really, Trump’s tweet may not be aimed at seeing Obama legitimately questioned under oath about what his role was during the set-up of Michael Flynn, 45’s first national security adviser.
Trump is usually four or five steps ahead of everyone else. Perhaps his only intent was to shine a big, fat light on Obama because few people in the mainstream media are going to do it, because many of those outlets were in on the hoax.
Also, as MRCTV notes:
It can’t be said for sure that Obama and his administration are guilty of what Trump is accusing them of until the facts come out in the process, if there is a process. But that’s why Trump is being so adamant on politicians, like Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), to press forward with an investigation. You can talk about it all you want, but until something actually happens in trying to find out the truth, it’s all just conjecture. Hence why Trump sent out this tweet.
And Graham is guilty of just that — talking, a lot, but not doing very much else.
That said, the president is right: ‘Spygate’ or ‘Russiagate’ or ‘Obamagate’ — whatever you want to call it — is the biggest political scandal in the history of our country because it involved an active plan to depose a duly elected president.
It can never be allowed to happen again, and to make sure of it, there have to be some indictments.
