Did the National Security Council just dump another Deep State mole out to set up Trump?
The manner in which this official was introduced and then dismissed is highly suspicious
By Jon Dougherty
(TNS) Since before he took office, President Donald Trump was targeted for removal by a Deep State aligned with Democrat Party officials and ‘mainstream media’ operatives posing as journalists.
Trump, who routinely promised on the campaign trail to “drain the swamp” must have either been so convincing that he posed a danger to the real power structure in DC, or the establishment crowd was so offended by him they vowed early on to do anything they could to keep him from the White House.
Maybe it was a combination of both, but whatever animates and motivates his haters, they haven’t stopped trying to depose him.
The impeachment nonsense is just the latest attempt after the Billy Bush sex tapes, Spygate, ‘Russian collusion,’ and now “Ukrainegate.”
Behind the scenes, however, the Deep State is still hard at work attempting to undermine the president, his agenda, and his staff. But he, apparently, has some sharp people of his own who are continuing to look out for his interests.
Quietly, in what was only reported by a few outlets, National Security Council senior director for European and Russian affairs, Andrew Peek, was escorted from the White House grounds and is currently under a security investigation.
The UK’s Daily Mail was one outlet that reported Peek’s sudden departure:
Peek had been in the NSC role for just two months, after most recently working as a deputy assistant secretary of state with responsibility for Iran and Iraq.
Peek had been expected to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland next week with Trump and other top aides. However, he is currently on leave pending a security-related investigation, people familiar with the situation told Axios.
Prior to joining the Trump administration, Peek served as a U.S. Army intelligence officer who worked under General John Allen in Afghanistan.
He was also a national security adviser to Senator Gordon Smith, an Oregon Republican, and Senator Mike Johanns, a Nebraska Republican.
Wait…Republicans? Yes. Remember, not all Republicans are on the Trump Train. In fact, most establishment GOPers probably aren’t and for the same reason the Democrats and Deep State don’t like our commander-in-chief.
Peek previously served as a deputy assistant secretary of State for Iraq and Iran, and he was seen as an ally of Robert O’Brien.
The Conservative Treehouse:
Andrew Peek came from the State Department. Because the appointment happened in the past two months, it would appear Andrew Peek was recommended by the Dept. of State and accepted for the NSC post by National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien.
Given Peek’s past associations with Marine Gen. John Allen, it looks like Peek may have been a mole — part of the resistance sent to spy on Trump whom someone caught attempting to access something sensitive that he either had no clearance for or no business trying to see.
The Conservative Treehouse noted further:
The biggest flare that identifies Andrew Peek’s ideology is the connection to former U.S. General John Allen. CTH has tracked Allen for several years; he was used as part of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. He spoke at the DNC convention for Hillary Clinton.
John Allen was also used, politically, as part of President Obama’s 2014 false narrative around ISIS; giving the illusion of an effort to confront the radical Islamists. Obama had been holding leverage over John Allen since 2012 [HERE]
Allen, a four-star Marine general, succeeded Petraeus as the top American commander in Afghanistan in July 2011; but General John Allen had a serious zipper problem. Allen retired in 2012 when his sexual proclivities surfaced.
But he didn’t stay retired. Obama — knowing he ‘owned’ Allen due to his past — brought him back in 2014 to use as a political tool in the former president’s phony war against ISIS.
Since Peek is a prodigy of Allen, it shouldn’t take a genius to figure out what his political motivations would have been regarding his ‘duties’ at the National Security Council.
So…how did he get past the gatekeepers, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and, more importantly, National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien, the latter of whom also hails from a very compromised, very corrupt State Department in which a majority of diplomats are so offended by having to serve Trump they’d do anything to help oust him?
Maybe Pompeo wasn’t aware of any of this, given his immense responsibilities. But it stretches credulity to believe that O’Brien had no idea who Peek was.
It could be that O’Brien set Peek up to fall, or that someone was astute enough to realize Peek was trying to access data he was not authorized to see.
Then, recall, out of the blue on Sunday, House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff complained that “the Intelligence Community is beginning to withhold documents from Congress on the issue of Ukraine.”
He added: They appear to be succumbing to pressure from the administration. The NSA in particular is withholding what are potentially relevant documents to our oversight.”

Coincidence? Or was Peek put in place to ‘secure information’ for Schiff and Co. to use in their next phase of attempting to depose President Trump?
