NFL Star Truth-Bombs Ocasio-Cortez With A Free Lesson In Biology Over Georgia ‘Heartbeat Bill’- FLASHBACK
By JonDougherty
NFL fans are very familiar with star tight end Benjamin Watson, who ‘retired’ last year with the New Orleans Saints after nearly making another Super Bowl appearance.
First drafted by the New England Patriots in the first round in 2004, Watson will reportedly come out of his sort of, kind of retirement and re-sign with his former team for the 2019 season.
Former #Patriots TE Benjamin Watson is planning to sign back with New England again. There are a few issues to work through, but those won’t hold up the deal. The former first round pick will be back home again.

But during his semi-retirement, Watson, 38, has been active for various causes, both in person and on social media.
For one, Watson, who has seven children with the births last month of twins Asher and Levi, frequently promotes and discusses the pro-life movement.
Georgia ??????
“As you all know Georgia is a state that values life," Kemp said as he was signing the bill. "We protect the innocent. We champion the vulnerable. We stand up and speak for those who are unable to speak for themselves." https://t.co/fMBaxNSHby

“The solution for unwanted children is to WANT them. The solution for unloved children is to LOVE them. The solution for a future of poor education, poverty and incarceration is EDUCATIONAL INVESTMENT, JOBS, and DECARCERATION. Killing innocent life will NEVER be the solution,” he tweeted.

Naturally, sticking up for life is a big problem for the perpetually angry Left, whose Democrat Party faithful love to pretend that their message of death (couched in the pathetic excuse of “a woman’s right to choose”) is not just moral, but the most moral position one can take on the issue.
Enter ‘Democratic Socialist’ Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.
After Georgia passed its new “Heartbeat Bill” — which prohibits abortions in the state after physicians can detect a heartbeat in a fetus, about six weeks, with exceptions in the case of rape/incest or the health of the mother — she took to Twitter to lecture.
“‘6 weeks pregnant’ = 2 weeks late on your period. Most of the men writing these bills don’t know the first thing about a woman’s body outside of the things they want from it. It’s relatively common for a woman to have a late period + not be pregnant. So this is a backdoor ban,” she wrote — apparently unaware of an invention that’s been around for some time called a “pregnancy test.”
Watson, however, wasn’t going to let her insolence pass.
“Actually his or her heart is beating 100 to 160 times a minute at 6 weeks,” he responded in a tweet. “Simple biology that has nothing to do with the sex of the individual writing the legislation.”

Ocasio-Cortez had no response, which — given her trademark petulance — is surprising.
When Watson, set to return for his 15th NFL season after such a pathetically botched call robbed him and the Saints of a Super Bowl appearance last year, does hang up his cleats, he could be destined for a career in politics.
