Abject Stupidity: Liberal Joy Behar Claims Trump Doing Daily Coronavirus Briefings Because He Can’t Have MAGA Rallies

There is a reason why the country listens to and trusts the president in times like these and not her

(TNS) Anyone who seriously questions President Donald Trump’s concern about what’s going on in the country over the coronavirus outbreak should take a long, hard look at themselves in the mirror.

Because they’re obviously far too bitter and displeased with their own lives to have much of a realistic perspective on things.

You’d have to be pretty cynical to believe the president isn’t sincere about wanting to guide the country through these turbulent times.

You’d have to be deranged to believe he thinks he has better things to do.

You’d have to be about as clueless and politically partisan as it gets to think that the president has ulterior motives for showing up every day at coronavirus briefings to make sure that the proper information is being relayed to Americans.

You’d have to be “The View” co-host Joy Behar, in other words.

After taking a week off the show to self-isolate from the spread of the virus, Behar made an appearance on Monday via satellite to enlighten all of us with her pearls of wisdom regarding Trump’s briefing motives.

Beforehand, she was set up essentially by co-host Sunny Hostin, who insisted, like other Left-wing journalist wannabes, that the networks shouldn’t even be carrying the briefings live because ‘Orange Man Lies.’ Imagine if President Trump had suggested that same treatment for any host on MSNBC, CNN, or The View.

“It seems to me that networks should not even be at this point broadcasting his 90 minutes of misinformation,” Hostin said. “I understand why Cuomo’s on. That’s one thing, but I almost think it’s a disservice to the country at this point …”

“He cannot have his MAGA Trump rallies anymore where they tell him how wonderful he is,” Behar interrupted. “He is using us instead of the MAGA rallies and that’s why he makes these. He never made these when he was doing his rallies, and poor Dr. Fauci” — the latter the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and as a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, who just dressed down a CBS reporter this weekend for trying to divide him and the president.

“I’m falling in love with Andrew Cuomo,” Behar concluded. “He used to annoy me, but I find him now so brilliant, and I can’t believe I fell in love with Andrew Cuomo.”

Oh, brother. Someone needs to warn the New York governor and quickly.

In any event, Behar’s ignorance isn’t even an original thought. Others have made the observation in recent days, meaning she likely stole the idea from them — and those claims were equally stupid.

There is still plenty of time for the president to make his case for reelection ahead of the November balloting. To suggest that he needs to use daily coronavirus briefings to draw a crowd is about as tone-deaf and silly as it gets, considering he draws three times as many people on average to his rallies as any Democratic presidential contender was drawing.

Besides, dear reader, you know how this game is played: If Trump wasn’t at the daily briefings he’d get hammered by these same losers for ‘not caring’ and ‘not being a leader.’

There is a reason why the country listens to and trusts President Trump in times like these and not Joy Behar.
